What is a ferric decontaminant?
What we call ferric contamination are the typical small black spots you see on a car after cleaning that are impossible to remove. They are metallic accumulations on the sheet metal that, in the long run, can cause rust stains as well as a lower performance of a treatment or polishing.
Can it be used as a wheel rim cleaner?
As a rim cleaner we actively recommend V60 Sport, it is more effective and works more powerfully. RedOne can be used after cleaning to remove the most adhered ferric particles on the rim.
Can the ferric decontaminant damage the paint of my car?
No, this product is totally safe for the paint. By using it, the ferric particles will be eliminated and therefore, your car's paint will shine more.
Does it damage the plastic moldings of the bumper?
Red One does not damage plastics, even if you think they have ferric contamination you can use it on exterior plastics and rubber.
Can it be applied directly on painted brake calipers?
Painted brake calipers contain paints with metallic components, so it is not recommended to spray any product on them, except 361 All Purpose Cleaner or diluted Lemon Sport.
Can I apply it on the crystals?
Yes, if you have ferric particles in the windows, you can remove them with RedOne.
How often should I use the ferric decontaminant?
We recommend a periodic use, at least once every 6 months. This will allow you to have a healthier and better conditioned paint for a longer period of time.
